– what is the database and database management systems

Working with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
– Demo : Creating Databases and Tables, writing T-SQL Query)

Introduction to T-SQL querying and Writing Select Queries for Data Retrieval
– select queries, sorting and filtering, table joins, grouping & aggregating using Built-in Functions.

– writing queries using insert, update, and delete statements.

SQL Server Data Types and Constraints
– Choosing proper Data, PRIMARY KEY, FOREIGN KEY and UNIQUE constraints.

Data Definition Language (DDL) - Designing and Implementing Tables, Views & Triggers
– tables, schemas, constraints, identity column, primary key and clustered indexes

Writing Complex Queries Using Advance Query Techniques
– Subqueries, CTE, merge statement, output clause and ranking functions.

Designing and Implementing Stored Procedures (SP) and Functions
– create and running SPs & functions, parameters, dynamic queries

T-SQL Programing and CURSOR Techniques
– variables, programming logics, IF…ELSE, BEGIN…END, WHILE loops and using CURSORS

Implementing Transactions & Error Handling
– BEGIN, COMMIT and ROLLBACK, using TRY/ CATCH structure for error handling.
